The Disaster Black Box system can send notifications via its web interface as well as through mobile phones. Applications are available for both iOS and Android systems.
Each device is identified by a unique ID containing a code with the floor and flat information within the building. Five (5) users are automatically created in the system for each flat. The first of these users is the administrator user. This user can define the other four (4) users if they wish. A mobile phone number must be used for each user.
The Disaster Black Box System does not collect user data via mobile applications. The system operates by matching applications with predefined user data.
The user application requests a telephone number upon first use. If the telephone number entered corresponds to a user defined in the system and that user appears not to be using the telephone application in the system, the system activates that user. The user can monitor all devices in the defined apartment via the application and receive alerts.
